On Saturday we were able to photograph Daniel and Melanie’s backyard wedding in Chino, California. We arrived in time for Dorothy to get some pictures of the bride getting ready while David met with Daniel and his groomsmen at the Hampton Inn in Chino Hills. As usual Dorothy got all the really touching detail shots while David got some pictures of the groomsmen wrestling and eating hot wings. That’s par for the course really. Actually David was able to get some of the formals with the guys started. The actual wedding began at around 6:00PM and the sun was just beginning to dip behind the houses. It was pretty good timing really because it provided good highlights and some dynamic light. We did the formals in the front yard. Finally, we enjoyed an evening of Mexican food and playing around with fixed light stands. The backyard was very dark but we got it to work anyhow.
