Jacob & Karla had their wedding and reception at the Green Mountain Ranch in the Lytle Creek area. We were really excited about this wedding for two reasons. First they seemed like a really neat couple and second we are pretty familiar with the area because we’ve done a lot of hiking near by. The Green Mountain Ranch has a lot of amazing potential when it comes to the landscape. Jacob & Karla let us take their portraits of them together before the ceremony and we’re glad they did because it was completely dark by the time the ceremony was over. We really enjoyed our time doing the romantic portraits with Jacob & Karla but as usual we ended up wishing we had a bit more time. The highlight of their reception was a video that Jacob put together for the night that he proposed to Karla. Sure a lot of couples have slide shows but this video was something else! I’m really looking forward to doing more weddings at the Green Mountain Ranch. It’s a great location if you’re looking for something on the rustic side.
