Meshach & Mayllyn’s Wedding

Category: Wedding
Meshach & Mayllyn had a wedding of epic proportions. The wedding took place at the Mt. Rubidoux Seventh Day Adventist Church in Riverside where they were married by the groom’s father, Manuao. The reception followed at the Riverside Convention Center. With 54 in the wedding party including 16 bridesmaids and 16 groomsmen, we never found ourselves with nothing to take pictures of. Not to mention the 400+ guests or the 35 tier wedding cake. We quickly discovered that the Polynesian culture has a unique way of doing weddings. We especially enjoyed the selection of authentic Pacific Islander dances. The money dance was the craziest thing we’d ever seen. Rather then pinning money to the bride & groom or using a little purse, money flew through the air and littered the ground. Two things really stood out at this wedding. First the couple made a special effort to put God first in every part of their wedding day. The reception included several couples who spoke of the importance of God in marriage and family. Second the generosity of Meshach & Mayllyn and their families. All in all, this was definitely the most unique wedding we’ve done to date.
